What is a Do-Follow Backlink?

There are many ways to get backlinks. One of the more popular is do-follow backlinks. These are links that will pass on the authority of the site they are linking to. This is different from no-follow links, which will not pass on any authority but can be used for different purposes.

When a site links to you from their site, this is called a do-follow backlink.

A do-follow backlink is a link on another website that the webmaster has configured to pass PageRank or other authority to the page that it links to. In contrast, a no-follow backlink does not pass any PageRank and usually does not have any SEO value either.

A do-follow backlink is a link built on content that is already linked to by other websites. A do-follow backlink is designated with the rel=”no follow” attribute.

There are many ways to get backlinks. One of these is by obtaining do-follow backlinks. These links will pass on the authority of the site they are linking to and it is distinct from no-follow links, which will not pass on any authority but have their purposes that can be useful too.
